In the photovoltaic (PV) industry, Optitune can provide proprietary coating materials to the glass manufacturers, or can supply coated glass to the cell and module manufacturers. For our thick film Si cell customers Optitune's pioneering spray-on and roller-coated hydrogenation, passivation and anti-reflective layers not only improve cell and module efficiency but also further benefit the environment. This is achieved by a reduction in consumables, and in power usage when compared to expensive vacuum and plasma deposition systems.
